My Story

I am a New York-based photographer drawn to atmosphere, light, memory, and the emotional character of the world around us. Through my photography, I aim to capture not just how a scene looks but how it feels to stand within it. I’m especially inspired by quiet moments, shifting weather, dramatic light, and the relationship between structure and environment.

My passion for photography was inspired by my late grandfather, who was an Army Air Force photographer during World War II and later taught photography at Marist College. His influence helped shape my appreciation for creativity and composition.

While I take pictures with my phone usually every day of nearly everything that catches my eyes, my work on this website is focused on special trips and places I’ve visited and my fascination with the natural and built environments. I find myself consistently drawn to scenes that evoke stillness, atmosphere, and a strong sense of place. Whether close to home on Long Island or somewhere far away, I approach photography as both exploration and reflection.
